At Parchi, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary to deliver our services:
- User Information: Name, email, mobile number (entered by user for billing/account purposes).
- App Usage: Screens visited, session time, crash data (via Firebase).
- Transaction Data: When using Razorpay, transaction IDs, payment success/failure status, and payment mode are collected by Razorpay. We do not collect or store card/UPI data ourselves.
2. Permissions Used
Our app uses limited permissions for performance and user experience:
- INTERNET: To connect to Firebase and Razorpay for real-time services.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To check internet connection availability.
- ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: To optimize network usage.
- VIBRATE: To provide tactile feedback in the UI.
3. Payment Data & Razorpay
We use Razorpay to securely process payments. When you make a payment:
- Data like your name, mobile number, and payment method (UPI, card, wallet) are processed by Razorpay.
- We do not store or access your card or UPI credentials.
- All transactions are encrypted and processed using Razorpay’s PCI-DSS compliant system.

4. Firebase & Analytics
We use Google Firebase for the following:
- Realtime Database: To store user billing records and rental items.
- Authentication: For secure login via phone or email.
- Crashlytics: To monitor and fix app crashes.
- Analytics: To understand how users interact with the app (anonymous data only).
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- To Razorpay, for payment processing.
- To Google Firebase, for app backend and analytics.
- As required by law or to enforce legal obligations.
6. Security
We use SSL encryption, Firebase security rules, and do not store sensitive data like payment credentials.
7. User Control & Your Rights
- Withdraw permissions anytime from app or device settings.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing us.
- We respond to all user requests within 7 working days.
8. Children’s Privacy
This app is intended for users aged 13 or above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Data Retention
Data is retained as long as your account is active. After 12 months of inactivity, we may delete or anonymize your data.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. You will be notified of significant changes in the app or via email.
11. Account & Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. You can request the deletion of your account and/or specific data at any time through the following options:
- Delete Account: Permanently delete your account and all related data.
- Delete Specific Data: Request the deletion of transaction history or other user data without deleting your account.
We process all deletion requests within 5–7 business days. Some information may be retained for legal or regulatory obligations.
